The Poetics of Privacy. Balance.

Body Rhythm. Point of Contact. Balance. The Poetics of Privacy.

About the Collection

“Balance” — understood as a pursuit of equilibrium — forms the heart of this collection. Kaja Kant explores empty space, free from external factors, into which she introduces human figures. The bodies, drawn as rhythmic sketches, pulse with vibrating lines that convey both majesty and fragility. The result is a quiet dialogue — a visual choreography of presence.

Through rhythm filling the contours of the figures, Kant seeks harmony. The spacing between the bodies, their orientation, and composition give rise to a nearly perfect order — one that leaves room for tension, for an intentional and delicate imperfection. A visual dissonance that encourages the viewer to engage, to rearrange, to interpret.

This collection is not just a composition — it’s an invitation. A subtle intrigue and playful disruption of visual order. A space to reflect on rhythm, proximity, arrangement, and the constantly shifting dynamics of what it means to share space — or to withhold it.

Artist's Vision

Kaja Kant invites us into an intimate reflection on the concept of balance — between bodies, within space, and inside ourselves. “The Poetics of Privacy” captures those fleeting moments where connection almost happens — or is just out of reach.

Here, balance becomes not only a visual composition but an emotional tension, a question rather than a resolution. Each work becomes a poetic gesture — both private and public — suspended in near-perfect stillness.
