An opportunity to witness one of Kaja’s latest works.
A project about existing in time and its continuous inscription — about presence that leaves a trace, even when it remains almost invisible.
Structure of Time reflects on everyday life as a continuous process of recording. Every movement, every gesture and every experience leaves a trace which, although often unseen, becomes part of the structure of our existence. Just as nature develops through its own rhythms and cycles, human life is also inscribed in time through repetition, change and presence.
The works explore the relationship between line, structure and space. Created at the intersection of intuition and conscious decision-making, they combine collage, photography, drawing and mixed-media processes. Each composition seeks to capture not only an image, but the process of becoming itself.
Projekt o byciu w czasie i o jego nieustannym zapisie – o obecności, która pozostawia ślad, nawet wtedy, gdy pozostaje on niemal niewidoczny.
„Struktura czasu” jest refleksją nad codziennością jako nieustannym procesem zapisu. Każdy ruch, każdy gest, każde doświadczenie pozostawia ślad, który – choć często niewidoczny – współtworzy strukturę naszego istnienia. Tak jak przyroda rozwija się poprzez własne rytmy i cykle, tak również życie człowieka zapisuje się w czasie poprzez powtarzalność, zmianę i obecność.
Prezentowane prace badają relacje pomiędzy linią, strukturą i przestrzenią. Powstają na styku intuicji i świadomego działania, łącząc elementy kolażu, fotografii, rysunku oraz działań z materią. Każda kompozycja jest próbą uchwycenia procesu, a nie jedynie jego rezultatu.
The creative process is an essential part of the project. Daily drawing, experimentation with materials and the construction of layered compositions become ways of recording experience and observation. Every layer, texture and mark bears witness to the time invested in creating each work.
The artworks are created on high-quality paper whose physical presence is considered as important as the image itself. The paper retains its natural texture, subtle undulations and organic character. For this reason, the works are presented without glass or acrylic glazing, reflecting a growing approach within contemporary galleries, museums and private collections that values the materiality of the artwork and the direct encounter between the viewer and its surface.
Here, process, material and time are inseparable. Each work exists not only as an image, but also as a record of its own making.
Proces twórczy stanowi integralną część projektu. Codzienne szkicowanie, eksperymentowanie z materiałem oraz budowanie wielowarstwowych struktur są sposobem rejestrowania doświadczeń i obserwacji. Każda warstwa, faktura i ślad pozostają świadectwem czasu potrzebnego do powstania pracy.
Prezentowane realizacje powstają na wysokiej jakości papierach, których fizyczność jest równie istotna jak sam obraz. Papier zachowuje swoją naturalną strukturę, subtelne falowanie i organiczny charakter. Z tego względu prace prezentowane są bez szkła i pleksi — zgodnie z coraz częściej spotykaną praktyką współczesnych galerii, muzeów i kolekcjonerów, którzy podkreślają materialność dzieła oraz bezpośredni kontakt odbiorcy z jego powierzchnią.
Proces, materia i czas pozostają tu nierozłączne. Każda praca jest nie tylko obrazem, lecz także zapisem swojej własnej historii powstawania.

The project stems from the belief that time is more than a measure of passing events—it is the way we experience reality. Every day is recorded through recurring actions, decisions and encounters. Repetition does not imply stillness; rather, it becomes a space for subtle transformation and continuous growth.
The exhibition is also inspired by Immanuel Kant’s reflections on time as a form of human perception rather than an objective entity. Within this perspective, the line becomes more than a compositional device—it becomes a trace of presence, a record of experience and a means of navigating reality. Structure reveals the relationships between order and chance, memory and change, the visible and the unseen.

Projekt wyrasta z obserwacji, że czas nie jest jedynie miarą kolejnych wydarzeń, lecz sposobem, w jaki doświadczamy świata. Każdy dzień zapisuje się poprzez rytm codziennych czynności, decyzji i spotkań. Powtarzalność nie oznacza tu stagnacji – przeciwnie, staje się przestrzenią subtelnych zmian i nieustannego rozwoju.
Inspiracją dla projektu są również rozważania Immanuela Kanta, według którego czas nie istnieje jako niezależny byt, lecz jest formą naszego postrzegania rzeczywistości. W tym ujęciu linia przestaje być jedynie elementem kompozycji – staje się śladem obecności, zapisem doświadczenia oraz sposobem orientowania się w świecie. Struktura obrazu ujawnia natomiast relacje pomiędzy porządkiem i przypadkiem, pamięcią i zmianą, tym co widzialne oraz tym, co pozostaje ukryte.
